"Louisiana, Louisiana
They're tryin' to wash us away"
- from Louisiana 1927
by Randy Newman

Our interests in this catastrophe are understandably intense, and the amount of images are already becoming overwhelming. I have selected the images that have impressed me the most, or have the potential to educate and inform the most. I suppose I should have acknowledged the sources of these pictures, but quite honestly, some were found on sites where they were copied from other sites, where they were copied from other sites, etc. Since this is intended for the distribution of information to family and friends, I hope this isn't an issue. If anyone visiting this site sees a picture of theirs and wants credit posted, please email me and I will gladly do so.
