Katrina Update #11

It just gets worse.

Governor Blanco has ordered all remaining residents still in New Orleans be evacuated.

The death toll is presumed to go higher than 9/11. Damage will be in the "tens of billions" according to Mayor Ray Nagin.

My good friend Ford Johnson from California has emailed me and said that the Red Cross has asked if he can go to Louisiana to help with the effort. (His father grew up in Southeast Louisiana). He may be leaving any day.
