So far, this one is looking like the infamous "doomsday scenario" that New Orleans has been so lucky to escape. Cary and I are in Wisconsin this weekend visiting a friend that just had a kidney transplant. Janis is preparing the house and gathering the most important belongings now and will be evacuating with Adam and Jarret, as well as both Cary's and Adam's girlfriends between 4 and 6 AM on Sunday.
At this point, there is no reason for concern about our safety. I will keep you apprised of things as I become aware of them.
