17th St. Levee Breech
This view looks east. Jefferson Parish would be behind the camera. From
the stillness in the water, this would be after the levels in the city
and the lake had equalized. That is a piece of the broken flood wall
peaking up from the water just beyond the end of the in tact flood wall
on the left.
